I had the opportunity to animate with Augenblick studios for Losers, the Netflix docuseries designed by Mickey Duzyj.

Episodes I animated on include Black Jack, Judgement, the 72nd Hole, Lost in the Desert, and the Miscast Champion.

The process was noteworthy experience as the storyboards, layouts, and design were “in flux” during the production. Many elements of the original animation changed significantly in the final as a result of this.

As a series, it approaches sport documentaries from a multitude of narrative perspectives. From the comedy of errors like Black Jack, the 72nd Hole, Stone Cold, and the Jaws of Victory, to harrowing tales of survival like Aily, and Lost in the Desert, to human dramas of societal persecution and personal perseverance like my personal favorite Judgement.
