For this project with Mosomos, our goal was to capture the fun, the creativity, and the whimsy behind the idea of NBC’s new reality show Making It. While its two hosts are large draws, this project focused on showing a DIY work ethic in designing and engineering engagements through tools, raw materials, and good old fashioned elbow grease.

I tried to reflect this in the story and aesthetic with warm vibrant palettes and a tactile narrative. The universe at the end being built up from the various materials that careen past us through the intro is a little micro-scale cosmos of the world of imagination the show seeks to unlock.

This project was a ton of fun as we the crew felt just as much a part of the Making It magic as any of the participants and viewers at home.
