The Microsoft Consumer Electronics Showcase (CES) project was done in conjunction with Future Colossal and MAG to showcase Microsoft’s capabilities in enhancing every day life and empower consumers via a human centric pathway.
This was achieved via augmented reality experiences on Surface tablets over an AR tagged table and a massive digital touch wall. My responsibilities were to serve as Art Director and Animation Director for the wall creating an interactive street scene of whimsical drawings come to life.
The challenge of user experience was one of both scale and flow, here is a larger than life sized wall that needs to be easily accessible across all heights.
For the augmented reality portion, the design was centered around a virtual show room where 3D augmented versions would come to life on the Surface tablets while 2D line drawings would similarly come to life across the walls.
